Overview

The AIDSinfo HIV/AIDS glossary app features definitions and explanations for key terms associated with HIV and AIDS. All of the information is provided by the US Department of Health and Human Services and is available in English and Spanish. The app is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices from the App Store and Google Play.

Description

The app is easy to use – simply download the app and you can browse the many terms and click to reveal the definitions. The information is presented in written form and also audio, with users having the option to hear it in English and Spanish. Many of the terms even have graphics and images to reinforce the information and help demonstrate what the explanations are referring to.

Learn and Share

The app features several different ways to find information. Users can search by typing in the terms, find a list of terms in alphabetical order, or even shake the phone to reveal a random term or definition. You can then share any of the terms via social media or add it to your favorites to refer to later.

Customize The App

All of the content on the app is available in English or Spanish. You can change the language very easily and it will also change the audio to the preferred language. There is also an option to change the size of the type for anyone who needs the words to be bigger to read.
