Overview

The HIV Answers app is a useful resource for people with HIV to answer common questions, explain treatment steps, give helpful tips, and keep track of information. All of the information and tabs are engaging and easy to use. The app is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices from the App Store and Google Play.

Description

Using the HIV Answers app is relatively easy and straightforward. The first tab is “Get Answers”, where users can find engaging articles about common questions and topics surrounding HIV. Then there is the “Steps to Treatment” section that helps users find and communicate with doctors. There is also a “Talk To Your Doctor” section that provides helpful tips and things to ask your physician. Finally, the “Keep Track” tab allows users to enter all of the information they’ll need for managing HIV.

“All of the tips are easy to understand and clear, ensuring that the user feels comfortable navigating the content and using the information when they are with their doctors.”

Get Answers

The articles in this section are easy to understand and, above all, helpful. The topics aren’t your generic “Diagnosis” and “Treatment” but are about things you’ll likely be feeling like “I can’t pay for medicine”, “I don’t want to change my life”, “I’m worried about side effects”, “I don’t want people to find out I have HIV”, and “I don’t feel sick.”

Steps To Treatment

In this section, users can find more information about finding a doctor and knowing what to ask them. All of the tips are easy to understand and clear, ensuring that the user feels comfortable navigating the content and using the information when they are with their doctors. There is also a section on adherence so that users can know how to keep up with their HIV medications and live with HIV.

Keep Track

With so many apps, resources, and hubs, it can be difficult to remember where to find all of your pertinent information. This is why HIV Answers provides users with a home for all of these details. Users can enter in their doctors, pharmacy, health insurance, emergency contact, medications, and other health conditions to store it all in one place.
