APLA Health (AIDS Project Los Angeles) is an organization determined “to achieve health care equity and promote well-being for the LGBT and other underserved communities and people living with and affected by HIV.” The organization uses education, treatment, advocacy, and engagement to advance strategies to help people with HIV.
Description
The APLA health website features many services that help people with HIV. There are Benefits and Work Services, Case Management Services, Capacity Building Programs, and Special Events. There is also a tab to Get Involved, whether that is donating money, volunteering, or sharing a story about living with HIV. Users can also look at the latest News, Events, and Advocacy efforts for social justice, LGBT, and HIV issues.
